MetLife Stadium in Oblivion, the site of the last Super Bowl.

Where 80,000 died, in what was to become the last Super Bowl, at MetLife Stadium

If you haven't seen the movie Oblivion yet, I won't ruin it for you.  Without giving away anything major, the movie is set in the year 2077 and gives you a glimpse of what a post apocalyptic world might look like through visuals of landmarks in New York, Washington D.C., and other famous cities.  When Tom Cruise's character stops at the stadium in what once was New Jersey, he relives the greatest moment of the last Super Bowl that was ever played, at MetLife Stadium.  In the dialogue, he talks about the 80,000 fans that were in attendance.  In reality, MetLife Stadium holds 80,000 fans.  As the scene comes to a close, Tom Cruise slips on a New York Yankees baseball cap, and exits the field.

Strangely enough, in the 1977 film Black Sunday which runs 2 hours and 23 minutes long, the terrorist organization who intends to bomb the Super Bowl also wants to kill 80,000 people.  That film was released 3/11/77.  This year's Super Bowl will be hosted by the third and eleventh states, New Jersey and New York, at MetLife Stadium.  It should be noted, the number 223, is the number 322 backwards.  This number is shown as the football stadium explodes in The Dark Knight Rises, which was released the same year as Oblivion.

With that said, let us hope that Oblivion is only a work of fiction.
  • Oblivion = 6+2+3+9+4+9+6+5 = 44
  • This will be the 44th Super Bowl of the modern era, which began in 1970
  • The NFL changed their logo to two sets of four stars in 2009

Numerology Fast Fact:  48 sums to 4+8 = 12.  In numerology, 12 represents completion.  This is because the sum of the numbers one through eleven equates to 66, and 6+6 = 12, the number that also follows eleven.  After this, the sequence ends, thus 12 represents completion.
  • 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11 = 66
  • 6+6 = 12
    • The NFL began in 1966

Oblivion the 2013 movie (premiered in Buenos Aires 26 March 2013; USA premier 19 April 2013, 124 minutes length, $120-million budget, and grossed worldwide $286.2-million) is set-in 2077 and is based on a character named 'Jack Harper' who works at Tower 49 and is known as Tech 49 or Jack 49 - interesting that 7 X 7 = 49. The movie talks about the Odyssey mission to 'Titan'. Perhaps that is a hint to some link to the Tennessee Titans? Perhaps Titans winning SuperBowl 51 (2017) or a link to their conference (AFC South)? Guess who are the other teams in AFC South - Houston Texans, 'Indianapolis Colts', Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans. Titans were in SuperBowl 34 in 2000 (St Louis Rams beat them 23-16 on 30 January 2000) their 1st and one and only time they made it to a SuperBowl. That year (1999 NFL season) St Louis Rams were rated as the worst team in the NFL in the beginning and specifically mentions they will be even worst than the Cleveland Browns (Ohio, the birthplace of American Football), and Titans made the playoffs as a wild-card team. Jeff Fisher was the Titans coach (who is now the Rams coach in 2016), and Steve McNair was the Titans quarterback (who died of a gunshot wound on 4 July 2009). Titans were also known as the Houston Oilers a long time ago. Also a Simpsons cartoon episode on 17 May 2009 (Season 20, Episode 21, overall episode 441, season finale episode) has a sentence with Milhouse (Bart's friend) saying "Minnesota Vikings apparel? This is Tennessee Titans territory!"

  4. Tennessee Titans owner Kenneth Stanley Adams Jnr (known as Bud Adams) born in Bartlesville Oklahoma (bart-les-ville) on 3 January 1923 and died in Houston Texas on 21 October 2013. Quite strangely on 14 May 1995 in a Simpsons episode (season 6, episode 4, overall episode 127) they show about how a lemon tree got stolen (moved?), and in 2013 it happened in real life in Houston Texas where someone's lemon tree was stolen (moved?). 1995 was the time they were discussing about relocating the Houston Oilers to Tennessee and in-fact the team was moved in 1996 and in 1997 they were renamed & rebranded as the Tennessee Oilers and in 1999 renamed & rebranded as the Tennessee Titans and they make it to SuperBowl 34 (30 January 2000)
