ESPN is making a huge deal about Harden going for '44'.

  • James = 1+1+4+5+1 = 12
  • Harden = 8+1+9+4+5+5 = 32
  • James Harden = 44

This numerological scoring feat occurred in Indiana against Larry Bird's Pacers.

Harden was 10 for 21 from the field, and 21 for 22 from the free throw line.
